Audrey Zucker-Levin, PhD, PT, MBA, GCS Emeritus

I started as a physical therapist at the Hospital for Special Surgery in 1988 and I was inspired and fascinated by the gait lab technology. After 6 years I moved to the Johns Hopkins Geriatric Center as director of physical therapy where I was interested in functional differences among people with limb loss. In 1999 I accepted a faculty position at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis TN where I developed interdisciplinary collaborations and established the Movement Science Lab. Our lab focused on the effects of prosthetic componentry on gait and balance and effects of sports injury on function. In 2017 I moved to the University of Saskatchewan where I am currently a Professor of Physical Therapy. My research continues with patient oriented and clinical research with the goal of improving function in people with limb loss.
